At the start each company has the same starting conditions and history.
Each submission represents a trading quarter and the company's performance is computed over a range of metrics.
The combined score is published as a league table at the end of each round.
After the six rounds the top SIX teams are invited to take part in a final over two days to be held at a venue to be confirmed.
The invitation to the final will be for the four team members and their tutor. The two non-executive advisors will not be invited to the final
The CIOB will contact the top six teams and make arrangements for the finals.
The first action required will be for the finalists to apply for the appropriate visa. This will be the responsibility of the individual team members. CIOB will supply a supporting letter to accompany the visa application.
The final will comprise a further eight rounds within a more competitive environment.
At the end of each of the final rounds the companies combined performance scores will be published as a league table.
At the end the company in the leading position having the best overall performance will be declared the CIOB Global Student Challenge Champions.
